This will be my fifth year as Student Council Advisor at Alpharetta High School! I enjoy working with my students to help them realize that their voices can and should be heard. My favorite part of this job is when they become independent and go off into the real world to make a difference.

Nikhila Cheekati
Hi! I’m Nikhila, a senior at Alpharetta High School, and I’m so excited to serve as your Student Council President! I’ve been an active member of Student Council since my sophomore year, and I’m passionate about creating a warm, welcoming environment where every member feels involved. I’m excited to lead fun initiatives that bring the student body together and make this year unforgettable. Outside of Student Council, I enjoy playing tennis, baking, listening to music, and spending time with my friends and family. I look forward to making this a year full of school spirit, connection, and lasting memories!

Vice President
Fadil Karichiyil
Hey! I’m Fadil Karichiyil, a senior and your Student Council Vice President. At Alpharetta, I’m involved in FBLA, Robotics, Raider Up, and NHS, and I’m always looking for ways to build school spirit and create a more connected student body. Outside of class, I enjoy playing soccer, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. I’m excited to help make this year one of the best yet. Go Raiders!

Historian
Lasya Ayyagari
​Hey, I’m Lasya Ayyagari! I’ve been in Student Council since my sophomore year and I’m one of the historians for the Student Council. I’m passionate about sports, especially tennis, gymnastics, and swimming. In my free time, I enjoy reading and journaling. As historian, I’m excited to capture the memories and moments that make our school community special. I’m looking forward to showcasing all the amazing things our school has to offer.

Hey, I’m Avni! I’m a senior at Alpharetta High School and I’m so excited to be one of your Historians for the 2025–2026 school year! I’ve been in Student Council since my freshman year and I’m passionate about capturing all the memorable moments and school pride throughout the year. As Historian, I look forward to documenting events, spotlighting student involvement, and celebrating the energy that makes AHS unique.

Hello, my name is Sia Garia, and I am entering my senior year of high school. I am this year's GASC representative, and this is my third year in the student council. I am very passionate about helping our student body and properly representing Alpharetta. When not at student council, I enjoy volunteering at shelters. I love hanging out with friends and watching movies.

Hey, I’m Ananya Gorti! I’ve been part of Student Council since my freshman year, and I was previously the council’s Advertising Chair. This year, I’m excited to host the District 1 conference and make memories with Alpharetta High School. In my free time, I play board games with my family and enjoy the outdoors.

Hey! My name is Ria and I am so excited to be your Events Chair this year. I am a senior at Alpharetta and my fourth year in stuco. In my free time I love painting, watching nextflix shows (The Diplomat, Gilmore Girls and The Good Place), and my favorite food is probaly ramen from Jinya and french fries. I am so excited to plan some amazing events this year!

My name is Sayuri Lopez. I am a senior here at AHS. What I enjoy most is seeing how everyone comes together to support whatever our school needs. Apart from Student Council, I love volunteering on my own time as well as taking hiking trips.

Hey, I’m Uma! I’ve been involved in Student Council since sophomore year, and I’m so excited to help take school spirit to the next level as Advertising Chair! I hope to spread the word about school events and boost involvement in spirit days and pep rallies. Outside of StuCo, you’ll find me baking, writing music, or running with the cross-country team.

Kaelene-Adia Poole
Hi, my name is Kaelene-Adia Poole! I am in the 11th grade and currently serve as the Creative Director for Alpharetta High School Student Council! Along with my passion for artistry, craftsmanship, and collaboration, I enjoy designing and illustrating, as well as other interests such as computer science as a career field and law in clubs such as Mock Trial. This year at AHS, I strive to help paint a better, brighter, and broader future for Student Council!

Secretary
Rishabh Sangodkar
Hey, I’m Rishabh Sangodkar! I’m a senior at Alpharetta and I’m serving as secretary for the 2025–2026 school year. As a second-year representative, I enjoyed connecting with others in the council and attending the GASC State Conference in February 2025. I hope to make Student Council fun and meaningful for every representative and continue its impact on the school and its students. Outside of the council, I like to play soccer, hang out with friends, travel, and listen to music.

Hello! I’m Ana Sofia Silva and I’m your Public Relations officer this year! I’m honored to be entrusted with such an important role, which is why I’m committed to help make this a fun, successful, and close-knit year for all of us! I’m here to listen, communicate, and do my best to help solve problems and support StuCo however I can. Go Raiders!!!

Funraising Senator
Anu Aithal
Hi, I'm Anu Aithal, a rising sophomore at AHS. Originally from Seattle, I brought my passion for student council, fundraising, and leadership to Georgia after serving as my middle school treasurer and president. At AHS, you may see me in one of seven other clubs, including some more fundraising management as Model UN co-treasurer. A fun fact about me is I love dance and have competed at the national level. I also work as a retail associate and event coordinator at Sweet and Sassy while advocating for youth justice through the Georgia Youth Justice Coalition and other organizations.

Spirit Senator
Elene Barkhudanashvili
Hey, I’m Elene Barkhudanashvili! I’m a junior and excited to serve as Spirit Senator for the 2025–2026 school year. I’m involved in nine clubs at school and enjoy spending time with friends and family outside of school. I’m looking forward to helping boost school spirit and create a stronger sense of community. I’m ready to bring fresh ideas, fun events, and positive energy to make this year memorable for everyone.

​Hi, my name is Jada Copeland and I am the social senator for student council. I also play for Alpharetta’s girls basketball team. I am excited to be apart of the council and help contribute to the school.

Hey! I’m Megha and I’m so excited to be able to serve as your Community Service Senator this year. This is going to be my second year in Student Council. Outside of school, I love volunteering, hiking, reading, and playing basketball as well.
